Hesitant... but

Been testing the waters ever so tentatively and asking myself lately, "Is it time to go back?"
It's been over a year since my last journal entry. These past few days I've been taking sneak peeks, making a few comments here and there, and visiting my deviant friends, some of them already moved to new accounts (note to self: update links below).
A few days ago I even submitted a fanart. There's no telling when the next one would be, but it did tell me something: I haven't changed at all. I was hoping to bring something back – something new or something better, perhaps – but I guess that's hoping too much.
But it was a refreshing break just the same. I like the energy flowing to me now as I browsed DA. It's nice to see so much have changed among those I watch – always my big sources of inspiration.

There's a lot of reason to be sad, angry, and sorry about what's happening around us -- be it your fault, that of others, or through no one's intention.
But, difficult as it may be, may it only take one small reason for us to smile and be thankful for everything.

My first fanart for this year, inspired by the online game ROSE. Finished!
- More ROSE fanart, just to cover all the characters I play there (meaning, all of the four classes).
- Aswang series. I wish to add visuals to my mother's dissertation on these Philippine supernatural creatures, and hope print it in book-format as my gift for her.
- Web designs. If I post something here related to this, it means I got paid for that.

Wishing you all good health, happiness, and prosperity this coming Year of the Fire Dog!
It's going to be an eventful year for me, and the stress this early on is giving me an excuse to grab the pencil and start doodling. So while the drive is there, I might as well plot a tentative course:
- Gift for my 2k viewer This is not tentative anymore. My first fanart for this year, inspired by the online game ROSE. About 80% done.
- More ROSE fanart, just to cover all the characters I play there (meaning, all of the four classes).
